We will travel overnight to the wonderful city of Paris by coach and ferry/eurotunnel. We will depart from Dover in the early hours of the morning, on arrival in France, please note that you will have to put your watches forward by one hour. From Calais the journey to Paris will take about 4 hours, we will make a breakfast stop on the outskirts of the city where you will also be able to freshen up.
Saturday
We will begin the day in the city centre and take you on a walking tour to Eiffel Tower. You can have free time to go up Eiffel Tower or we offer an optional tour on a River Seine boat cruise – the perfect way to see the sights including views of Notre Dame Cathedral. To book the River Seine boat trip please pay the guide on the bus before arrival in Paris (payment €10).
Make sure you visit Louvre Museum, where you can take lunch and visit this historic museum. If you are lucky enough to be under 18 then the entrance is free or about €12 for adults. At the museum there is a large underground restaurant complex with foods from around the world, the cost of the food here is very reasonable compared to the more expensive places in the street. During the afternoon you will have time to stroll along the Champs Elysees and visit the Eiffel Tower (€16 adult or €8 child rate for 2nd floor) before making your way to the hotel for check in.
You can join our evening illuminations tour Saturday evening (€20) that begins with a visit to Montmartre & Sacre Coeur in the famous artists quarter with its magnificent views over Paris and quaint streets and café’s to Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge. Lastly a stop at the Trocadero to see the Eiffel Tower light show before returning to the hotel late evening.
Sunday - Disneyland
Sunday will be at Disneyland Paris (entrance ticket included to both Disney Studios and Disneyland, to all shows, rides and events) or have extra free time to explore and enjoy the city of Paris. See your guide for more details on the tour weekend and to say which option you choose. Departure from Disneyland and Paris late Sunday evening.
Sunday night / Monday morning
Overnight journey. Arriving back home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Optional extras are also available, but they are not included in the tour price.
Optional room upgrades available at extra cost. Rooms at the Hotel are based on 3 or 4 people sharing with private bathroom and breakfast included on Sunday morning. Your guide will find out who will share with whom on the way to Paris.
* Note: In busier periods of the year (eg middle of summer) we may have alternative accommodation and possibly have higher numbers of people sharing a room or use a hostel rather than a hotel. *
